A full moon night rising, for the one, the original, the enormously long-running Dartmoor acoustic night returning for its umpteenth season of poetry, songs, stories, music & general goodwill & humour. Come to our most splendid little pub up beyond Buckfastleigh, for a Sunday evening worth remembering.

Plymouth language club at PLYMOUTH ARTS CENTRE

Partners in poetry, Susan Taylor & Simon Williams are tonight’s guests at Plymouth’s well known & eclectic poetry venue. The Language Club is a tolerant and friendly performing writers' space, hosting names from the national, as well as the regional, poetry scene.

 

Knit expo Cabaret evening at EXETER PHOENIX

SATURDAY APRIL 17th - 6pm to 8pm (with an interval)

This event is part of Exeter’s first Knit Expo; a pioneering experiential knitting event/platform, where knitters and non-knitters come together to celebrate the wealth of creativity in this ever-growing and exciting art form. The cabaret will include stand-up comedy from the knit wits, Knitting Bingo, a discussion on 'what place does knitting have in 21st Century culture?’, playlet/word/poetry & live music.

Whole event (including Cabaret): £7.00 (£5.50), afternoon event: £4.50 (£3.50), just Cabaret: £4.50 (£3.50) - under 12s free
