This book gives readers a chance to see poets as they may not have encountered many before. Poets have abandoned their book-lined studies, their writing huts at the end of the garden and even their coffee house tables. In short, everything that forces them to be static - fixed stars in the poetry firmament - has dropped away. Here they are dancing about by the sea, even swimming with snakes (!), playing sports and games, talking to walls and holding imaginary tea parties.

    What could be better?
